Since I was a kid I've spent thousands of hours listening to his recordings . I got a chance to see him play live too. When I was thirteen my parents took me to Buffalo to see Oscar play a solo piano concert. I got his autograph and my picture taken with him after the show. It made quite an impression on me!<BR><BR>This is Oscar playing live in 1979 with Niels Henning Orsted Pedersen on bass . The tune is <EM>Soft Winds</EM>. I love the duo setting because the clarity and precision of Oscar's articulation really stand out and sparkle here.
