This blog is dedicated to the pianists and musicians who have inspired me over the years. What better way to start than with my man, and childhood hero--Oscar Peterson. I had the opportunity to see him play live three times: solo in 1986; quartet in 86 at the Blue Note with Joe Pass; and at the Blue Note again in 1990 with Ray Brown and Herb Ellis. He was one of the greatest ever! Check him out here in conversation with Dick Cavett.
